Saving the Reef 1 frag at a time…

I got my hands on some lighting, they are 2 I bars which hold 2 x 39W T5′s. This will be for the first tank, as i expand to the other tanks I will buy more lights as required.

With them I got someT5 Tubes and reflectors. For each Light bar I got 1 x Aquascience Duo Blue and 1 x OSRAM Cool Daylight.

I got 2 extra OSRAM T5′s just  in case the Aquascience T5′s didn’t work out, if all is good I will have spares.

The tubes were quick and easy to install.

After installing the reflectors I had to give them a test run to see how it T5 tubes turn out.

The Aquascience T5 Tube as you can see is very blue, it is about 22K and the OSRAM Cool Daylight is around 10K.

Now they are both ready to be installed to make the Little Frags Grow.

I am quiet excited to see these in action on the Frag tanks.
