Lighting Schedule Setup

Have had alot of questions regarding how long I have my lights on.

The Lighting is controlled by my IKS Aquastar with a Controllable Plugbar.

I currently only have one tank running with 2 I Bars.

Light Bar 1 ON: 19:30

Light Bar 1 OFF: 03:30

Light Bar 2 ON: 21:30

Light Bar 2 OFF: 05:30

So far this schedule is working for me, 10 Hours of light seems to be enough for now. In the future I might look at increasing the lighting period to 12 Hours and see how that works out, maybe get more Coral growth.

Once the other tanks require lighting they will follow the same schedule.

Got a IKS Aquastar with 2 x Controllable Plug bars and 1 x Dim-able bar, it was cheap as I got it from a fellow reefer.

Got the Lights on a timer on the Plugbar and it is working a charm.

Also got Water level sensor which seems to work in testing but also got 1 x PH Probe and a Temp Probe both which are not working. The PH Probe thinks it is a Temp Probe and the Temp Probe is just plane nuts.

So………I am accepting any working donations of a PH Probe and Temp Probe for the IKS or really any additions for the IKS Aquastar that will help things along on my mission.
